The Tychy Half Marathon is a 21 km race on a PZLA certified route, taking place through the streets of Tychy and around Lake Paprocańskie. The start, finish, race office, and running village are located near the athletics stadium on Edukacji Street. The aim of the event is to promote running as a form of active recreation and to promote Tychy as a city conducive to sports. During the competition, many accompanying events take place, such as children's races, warm-ups, massages, and showcases of sports products.
